RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Yakka Goods, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. 60-Day Return Window

You have 60 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or refund request — no questions asked. The 60-day window begins from the date your parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 60 days of the delivery date
  • In its original or reasonably similar condition
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)

We also accept returns for items that are faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described — regardless of the 60-day window.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been deliberately damaged by the customer
  • Items returned without any proof of purchase

4. How to Initiate a Return

  • Step 1: Email us at contact@yakkagoods.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  • Step 2: Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions.
  • Step 3: Pack your item securely and send it to the address we provide.
  • Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund to your account.

6. Exchanges

If you received a faulty or incorrect item and would prefer an exchange rather than a refund, please let us know in your return request email. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

7. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to a faulty product or our error, Yakka Goods will cover return shipping costs. If you are returning an item for a change of mind within the 60-day window, the cost of return shipping is at the customer's expense.

8. 1-Year Warranty

Every Yakka Heating LunchBox is backed by a 1-Year Warranty. If you experience a manufacturing defect or product failure within 12 months of purchase, please contact us at contact@yakkagoods.com.au and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our returns policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
